You can now use camera mode in Google Translate app to find the translation of the captured text. All you have to do is - point your camera to the text you want to translate and the application will instantly convert it on the same image. And the best part is you don't even need internet or data connection for the translation. The below image pretty much explains it all.


The camera mode works for 36 languages however instant translation currently works for English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. According to Google, they are working out to expant it to more languages and you can see the updates in next few months.

This update make it really useful while traveling to foreign places and using the local languages.
